HR Assistant Manager

Overview

Our Client is a large international Bank, incorporated in the UK and authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (‘PRA’) and regulated by Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) to conduct banking Business in the UK.

 

Responsibilities

  • The candidate should possess good knowledge of SMCR guidelines, having experience in submission of regulatory Forms required during the change in Senior Management.
  • Maintenance and updating of Management Responsibility Map (MRM) Documents, Statement of Responsibility (SOR), etc.
  • Keeping abreast with the latest regulatory guidelines and latest industry trends in HR.
  • Work on effective Implementation of Performance Management Plans / KRIs for all the employees.
  • Actively engage in preparation of packs for the Head of HR for presenting in various committee meetings.
  • Providing HR advice, guidance and support to line managers in HR related issues
  • Managing all employee queries and request regarding HR issues.
  • Managing Medical insurance scheme etc. and its record keeping.
  • Managing Pension scheme/contribution and its record keeping.
  • In house salary processing, Income Tax, P-11D & PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) and to liaise with Tax Accountant for all the financial activities related to employee salary.
  • To involve in end to end recruitment process, co-ordinating and arranging interviews.
  • Implementation of DE & I initiatives in the Bank.
  • Implementation of various employee engagement programmes.
  • To liaise with Background screening (CV Insight) for all the employees.
  • Training – Assessing needs, Maintaining training records for the employees (prepare notes, approval and maintain record) and to organise In-house training sessions whenever required (e.g. Induction Training, Department specific Training) etc.
  • To reviewing SLAs / Contracts of recruitment agencies, CV Insight etc. and their record keeping.
  • Managing E-learning application for all the staff as per approved plans & recording of CPD.
  • Create an HR plan with full suite of HR policies and procedures
  • Design, implement, update and renew policies and procedures
  • Maintain Full employee lifecycle
  • Initiating investigations, disciplinary actions, addressing staff grievances as per Bank’s guidelines
  • Interact with Risk Department to update KRIs and undertake Risk Control Self Assessment exercise pertaining to HR.
  • Present HR based MI to Head of HR.
  • Involve in various projects related to HR Department i.e. implementation of HR systems, New Consumer Duty, etc
